Why we chose stainless steel over brass: Brass is the standard base metal for most fashion jewelry, but it has real limitations. 316L surgical-grade stainless steel is the same alloy used in medical implants and high-end watches. It's significantly harder than brass, holds its shape over years of wear, and is fully inert.
